About MrsH
I have been teaching Maths and Statistics for almost 15 years in secondary schools. I am incredibly patient and able to break down complex mathematical ideas into manageable steps. I will answer your questions as clearly as I can and as many times as you need me to. I am passionate about you understanding the maths that you are being asked to do and not just about you remembering the steps.
I have also marked both GCSE and A Level exam papers for exam boards, so I have a good understanding of how marks are awarded and what you need to do to ensure you achieve as many marks as possible when you come to sit your exams.

I have taught students of all abilities and dispositions throughout my teaching career and am able to adapt my teaching to the needs of your child. Whether it be support with confidence, assistance to pass the GCSE exam or help to excel with a grade 9, I can tailor my support to suit.
I am able to teach students from Year 7 to Year 12. I can offer support with both GCSE Mathematics and GCSE Statistics as well as A Level Mathematics (Pure and Statistics in particular).
Lessons will be 45 mins to 1 hour depending on your needs. All resources will be provided; a positive attitude and a suitable calculator are the only items your child will need to bring.
