As our brains are all different and operate in unique ways, the teaching styles I use allow students to absorb information in their preferred way(s). I incorporate visuals (demonstrations), aural/oral (explanations), read/write (students read and take notes), and kinaesthetic (practicals, learn by doing).
I teach KS2-KS3 Computing to Government National Standards and GCSE in both Computer Science and Business.
I have been told that I am approachable, and students are not frightened to ask or answer questions posed, and have fun in my lessons. I have a friendly, down to earth nature and want my students to enjoy learning and to achieve their very best, while feeling confident about new skills they have learned.
