About Jen
I've been teaching math at the college level for more than five years, and it has become my favorite thing to teach. Why's that? Because my success didn't come naturally, and I understand how confusing math can be.
I nearly failed math in high school. I only succeeded because I had help. Lots of help. Tutors, friends, family... I had a lot of people trying to help me succeed... but it didn't help. I had to shift my perspective.
I spent a long time thinking that I was bad at math, when really, I just lacked a solid understanding of the fundamentals. Once I understood the basics, everything else came naturally - and now I teach math! It IS possible to get better at this, and I would be honored to help you along the way.
