About Rob
Teaching is something I've always wanted to do, and it's more of a passion for me than a job. My goal is to create a learning environment that is relaxed and open, where you feel comfortable asking all the questions you need to, without fear of being judged or rushed through the session. I can draw on my extensive classroom experience to make sure you understand each concept before moving on. No assignment is too big or small, and I approach every session with patience and attention. You will leave the session with greater confidence and skill.

Most often students want help with a specific homework assignment. During our sessions, I will help you first to understand the requirements, and clarify any misunderstandings. We can then look at any work you've already done, or if we are starting from scratch, I'll help you get past those initial hurdles, get started on the assignment, and then walk you through the solution.
Because I am a college instructor, a session with me is basically like having a one-on-one office hour with a teacher who will sit with you as long as you need, and give you their full attention until the assignment is complete! I don't just give you the answer and have you leave still not understanding; we work through the solution together, learning the skills needed as we go!
