About Athena
Helping children reach their full potential and grow in confidence is my first priority.
I am gentle, friendly, encouraging, motivating and very patient.
I have thirteen years teaching experience which is a great advantage as I understand child development and relate well with children.
I offer free assessments on line to establish learning gaps and performance levels.
A learning gap is an area in your child’s learning that was neglected or missed which is vital for their foundation in understanding crucial concepts.
After the assessment parents will get the results of their child’s assessment.
Books and score keys will be sent to the children ensuring that the children cover the gaps they have and perform from the level assessed.
Each book has a test which the child completes. If the child gets over 80 percent they will proceed to the next book.
Parents will be confident and secure in the measurement of what their child is learning as it is all written down.
Children grow in confidence as their learning gaps are covered and accelerate at their own pace with all my encouragement and patience.
