About Falaq
My name is Falaq and I am a university student at UCL studying Economics, a heavily maths-based degree.
I have tutored Maths for approximately a year, and am very confident in my teaching approach and have found a way to make my students throughly enjoy Maths and get the grades they want! I have quite a hands-on approach and believe that the best way to learn is through practicing questions. This approach has gotten many of my students A*s at GCSE and I'm sure you will be no exception.
I have such an enthusiasm and joy in teaching Maths, it has been my favourite subject for as long as I can remember!

About the lesson

I will discuss with the student to see where their strengths and weaknesses lie. I will take note of these and plan lessons accordingly.
I will then explain the methodology by actively working out questions of the topic they find difficult, on an online whiteboard that they can see. Then, I will provide a number of questions for them to solve themselves, I will aid them as much as they need until they are able to answer questions without my help.
Lessons will typically last 1-2 hours, however much is required for that student. I am aware that nearing exam periods they may require longer than an hour per session.
My teaching style is most suitable for higher tier GCSE Maths students.
