About Angad
Hi! Welcome to my page! I have recently graduated from the LSE with High Merit as an MSc student studying Accounting and Economic Sociology. I aim to inspire students to achieve new heights and equip them with a confident understanding of their desired subject. I have a successful academic track record in Geography, Sociology dissertation writing and preparation for university admissions. During my undergraduate degree, I was awarded a top-performing academic award from a cohort of 120+ students!

Hello there! I am thrilled to begin each tutoring session by getting to know my tutees and their individual needs. I take the time to identify the areas they want to focus on and ensure we cover everything necessary for their success. While some students may want to go over concepts and theories, I have found that most require assistance with exam techniques. Luckily, that’s where I come in! My extensive experience has shown me that students need guidance in translating their knowledge into top-notch answers, and that’s where my expertise will shine.
During our sessions, I place great emphasis on guiding students through the process of answering past paper questions, honing their essay structures, and developing higher-order analytical and evaluation skills. I make sure to teach students how to apply their newfound knowledge to information in case studies or how to bring in real-world examples to enhance their answers. With my help, my tutees will be well-equipped to tackle any exam!
Most of my tutoring is done remotely, using platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. I find these virtual sessions to be just as interactive as meeting face-to-face, and they allow me to tutor students from all over the world!
Ultimately, I aim to ensure that each of my students receives maximum benefit from their teaching. That’s why I always encourage them to provide feedback so I can continue to improve my approach and provide the best possible tutoring experience. Let's get started on this amazing journey together!
I have been a mentor to 1st-year undergraduate students for 2 years, and my desire to tutor is driven by my passion for sharing knowledge and generating a passion for learning for others.
I can support students ranging from GCSE and A-Level to University-level in Geography and Sociology.
I am also experienced in helping with personal statements for university applications as I received successful offers from Russel group universities, including LSE and St Andrews.
I can also help proofread and refine essays/dissertations to achieve high-quality outputs and grades, with the aim of achieving a 1st class.
