About Brandon
In my six years of teaching I have encountered many different learning styles, including students with special needs. One of my favorite things to do is work with students one-on-one as I have noticed that in the one-on-one setting, students are more open, and I can ask questions that better help me understand what a student is confused about. In my years of teaching and tutoring, all of the students I have worked one-on-one with have succeeded as long as they are willing to put the effort forth.
I believe that a professional demeanor, with a little humor, goes a long way. As your tutor, I can assure you that you will be well prepared for your class, and/or exam.

My lessons are tailor made to meet your needs. Either before or during our first session, I will ask what your learning style is, and what you need the most help with. Throughout the first session I'll ask you for feedback, and at the end of the session I'll ask you what worked best for you. My focus is on YOU!
I believe in learning by doing, so we will generally solve problems or questions during sessions, and discuss various answers.
I base my lesson plans off of how a previous lesson went. If I notice that you're struggling with a particular topic, we will cover that in greater detail. Otherwise, I like to build a good foundation of a topic and build up from there.
My lessons in math are for those who are taking high school level algebra, my chemistry lessons are for high school chemistry and college general chemistry, and my biology lessons are for high school, college, and graduate level courses.
