About Olivia
I have a MSc in marine science and have been teaching science in both mainstream, SEN and outdoor settings. I have gained knowledge and experience planning and delivering lessons to students with a wide variety of abilities and needs. My lessons will be delivered at a pace that suits the student and will ensure that they gain the knowledge and confidence needed to excel in the subject to the best of their abilities.

My teaching technique is often student led, this ensure that the student is getting what they need from the lesson. I will always allow questions to encourage curiosity and confirm understanding.
I have worked in school with lessons of twenty minutes so I am able to prepare shorter lessons, as well as lessons of up to an hour.
I have worked in both mainstream and SEN setting as an unqualified science teacher up to GCSE level using both the AQA and edexcel curriculums. I also have experience working as an outdoor tutor for the Field Studies Council teaching both Biology and Geography field trips in London and Epping Forest so I would be able to support students writing up their fieldwork or revising from it. This included A-level Biology and Geography.
