About Maya

My name is Maya, I am 18 and hardworking, attentive, and caring to my students! I have tons of experience with French and tutoring, and have struggled immensely in French schools where I did not know ANY French. I know learning and getting better at a language is hard, but I want to make my students feel comfortable, and my goal is to help you feel like we are on the same page, while learning at your choice of pace. I want to make learning a new language fun, as difficult as it can be--- I am determined to make my students feel welcomed and confident in the French language!

About the lesson

- I provide different resources/worksheets
- I will do mini assessments to see what you need/ how I can help you in whichever areas you struggle in!
- I engage in the language and make sure you understand all while speaking mainly in French (unless you prefer English and French)
- I am attentive and want to get you where you need to be
- For all grades/levels
-I will help guide you
- I will share my personal experiences/knowledge as to how I overcame the challenges of having to go to a French school while speaking no French-- and what I did to help get to becoming fully fluent!
