About Jayde
I am a postgraduate student at the University of Cape Town with a BSc Physics from the University of Pretoria. I have always harbored a love for mathematics and problem solving which is why I chose to pursue Physics after school. I have tutored many students who want to improve their marks for the betterment of their future. I have seen many struggle with teachers they don't understand, or a system they can't keep up with. I hope to help students take a step back and appreciate the work they're doing and the skills they're learning. I come from a place of compassion, while also pushing you to do your best.

It is important to understand which links in the chain are missing in order to formulate a complete strategy to improving knowledge. In my experience, students often don't understand exactly what it is they don't understand, and that's where I feel I help the most. It's not good enough to be able to follow an algorithm to solve problems, one must develop an intuition for it so that no problem is too large or too daunting to solve.
