About Shaanveer

I am a PhD student in Psychology and Neuroscience with a strong academic background in psychology and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Having progressed through GCSE, A-level, and university-level psychology myself, I understand both the content and the challenges students face at each stage.

I pride myself on being patient, supportive, and highly organised. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and independent learning skills. I have particular expertise in research methods, essay writing, and exam preparation, and I guide students in developing clear, structured answers that meet top mark criteria.

I take a professional and tailored approach to every lesson, ensuring sessions are well-planned, focused, and adapted to each student’s needs. Whether you are aiming to pass, improve, or achieve top grades, I provide a supportive and structured environment to help you get there.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is tailored to each student’s learning style, whether that involves visual aids, active recall, or step-by-step explanations. I focus on building a deep understanding of psychological concepts rather than memorisation, using real-world examples and exam-style questions to reinforce learning. I also incorporate evidence-based study techniques (e.g., spaced repetition, practice testing) to help improve long-term retention and exam performance.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, though I also offer 90-minute sessions for more in-depth support, particularly for exam preparation or essay writing.

I am a current PhD student in Psychology and Neuroscience, with a strong academic background in psychology. I have experience supporting students with essay writing, research methods, and exam preparation, and I am particularly confident in areas such as cognition, neuroscience, and data analysis.

I offer tutoring for GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate psychology students. Lessons are suitable for students of all abilities, whether you are aiming to build confidence, improve grades, or achieve top marks.
