About Lucas

My name is Lucas, I'm a Brazilian journalist and currently a master student in History, Civilizations and Heritage at Paris Cité University. I'm an informal Spotify playlist creator, seriously addicted to cute animal videos, and a true gossip expert. I love traveling and learning new languages. Count on me to help you speak Brazilian Portuguese without any hiccups!

About the lesson

Learn Brazilian Portuguese in a relaxing way that suits your needs!

Hey you! Do you finally want to speak Portuguese without sweating every sentence? Welcome to a class like no other!

Here, you certainly won't find endless grammar or dusty textbooks: we will learn according to your own desires, your pace and your personality. Whether you're a teenager or an adult, a complete beginner or already well-established, each class is tailor-made.

My name is Lucas, I'm 24 y.o. and, perhaps like you, I'm a great language enthusiast. Today, I speak Portuguese (native speaker), English, French, Spanish and a little Italian.

In 2017-18, I had the great opportunity to spend a year abroad in Lille, living with five French host families. As a result, I learned French by "osmosis".

I must admit, foreign languages can be kinda scary at first. They open up a whole new world, with difficult sounds, confusing writing, and a dense vocabulary. But I'm sure that with my help, you'll fall in love with a new culture!

I was born and raised in Brazil, and my English level is C1, certified by the Duolingo English Test (DET).

What do I offer? A lively, cultural, and fun learning experience. We will explore English and Portuguese through music, movies, and your personal interests. Because, let's be honest, learning is easier when we're having fun!

So, ready to dive into this new adventure with me? Let's go! Bora lá!

Excelente professor! Tem muita paciência para explicar e deixa as aulas leves e dinâmicas. Aprendi bastante em pouco tempo, tanto em inglês quanto em francês. Super indico para quem quer evoluir de verdade!

Excellent teacher! He’s very patient when explaining and makes the classes light and dynamic. I’ve learned a lot in a short time — both in English and French. I highly recommend him to anyone who truly wants to improve!
