About Mason
Throughout my time at UChicago, I studied a broad range of periods and regions, with a particular emphasis on the theoretical side of history (historiography) as understood through the work of Michel Foucault. My most recent project was a research paper on the history of psychopharmacology and its relation to the ethical formation of self-hood in the 20th and early 21st centuries. I am happy to share a sample of my writing upon request!
