About Sneha
I’ve been tutoring students on and off for the past 4 years and have worked with students with a wide range of mathematical interest. My goal isn’t to make you the next Fields Medal winner (unless you want that)! I want what you want out of this, and I want us to have some fun and learn stuff along the way. If you want to pass, I can get you there! If you want to understand concepts and think about how they apply to other lessons we’ve covered, I can do that too! I take my cues from you.

My approach to teaching math revolves around breaking down problems as opposed to the formulaic “plug and chug”. I take a Socratic approach, meaning I like us to learn together and ask each other questions about why we are thinking about problems in certain ways. Admittedly, I hated math in high school and spent much of my life thinking I sucked at it. I learned that breaking away from formulas and understanding the root of the concept makes the content more relatable and understandable and that’s how I like to teach.
