About Matthew
Hello! My name is Matt Howden, and I live in Calgary, AB, Canada with my wife and two kids. I have a deep love for the Word of God and a passion for teaching others about it. Over the years, I’ve worked as a teacher, pastor, cabinet designer, and school bus driver—experiences that have all shaped my approach to teaching and connecting with people.

My lessons focus on God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit from a biblical Christian perspective. Together, we will explore “What is Theology?” and discover how Scripture helps us truly know and understand who God is. As we study His character, His Word, and His works, our goal is not simply to gain knowledge—but to deepen our love for God and grow in a living, personal relationship with Him.
