I am a first-year student at Cardiff University studying Biochemistry. I am a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong background in the French language and culture. I am committed to helping students improve their language skills and build confidence in their abilities. Outside of tutoring, my hobbies include: -Watching movies (French ones included:)) -Arts and Crafts -Reading - Sports!

My aim is to ensure the areas that the student is not confident in are targeted first, while also improving on their strengths. I have structured all my lessons to be as engaging and educative as possible through interactive activities and exercises, harnessing the benefits of active recall and spaced repetition to positively enhance memory and confidence. With regular speaking and listening practice, I aim to grow the student's comprehensive ability out of the book, allowing them to understand French as a modern means of communication. I believe that with learning a language, immersion is key so I will be dropping several phrases during the lesson in and repeating them in English to familiarise the student with common phrases that might be helpful when communicating. We will also be aiming to learn at least 3 new words/verbs every lesson, to grow our vocabulary and increase our confidence.
