About Elizabeth
I got started with tutoring when my sibling asked me for help, and I realized how much I enjoyed helping others with their work. The friends of my parents even asked me to tutor their kids! These children barely knew any English, but with my help, they were able to understand what they were reading and pronounce words with little to no accent. Over the past four years, I've had five students, and I'm proud to say that I've seen clear progress with all of them. My main goal is to make you feel comfortable and help you succeed!

My teaching style is personalized for each individual and will incorporate various helpful strategies to help you stay focused. A typical lesson plan will begin with a review of our session goals and activities. Then, we will proceed with the lesson. Depending on the task, it could involve activities such as writing an English essay or reading a passage and discussing our understanding of the text. As we near the end of our session, we will wrap up any remaining details and then conclude the lesson. These lessons are suitable for anyone who needs assistance with homework or aims to improve their English. I can work with students aged 4-15, and the lessons typically last for 1-2 hours. Additional time can be requested.
