I have been teaching Physics for 12 years in UK private and International School settings. My degree is in Optoelectronics and Laser Engineering from Heriot Watt university, Edinburgh. I have a postgraduate diploma in IT and a PGCE in Secondary Education from the University of Glasgow. I am currently the Head of Physics at a highly successful international school in Madrid. The normal destinations for my students include Imperial college, UCL, Oxford,Cambridge, and Brown in the last year alone. This year I have had three students in one class accepted for Oxford. I am a patient teacher who looks at physics from the students point of view with simple explanations and a focus on what they need for their exams. I teach all exam boards up to Year 13 Physics, I also offer GCSE Maths and AS Level Mechanics. I can offer all sciences up to age 13 or KS3 extending into chemistry at KS4. As an examiner with AQA and CIE exam boards I can offer a insight into how to gain those extra marks that other teachers may miss.
