About Tyler

Tyler Anderson has been passionately teaching middle school and high school math, as well as tutoring many subjects from K-12 for the past decade. In doing so he has learned many different instruction techniques which make it easy for his students to connect academic concepts to real-world applications.

Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology which gives him a unique outlook on education while being able to address learning differences with compassion and understanding. Tyler has worked with students from varying backgrounds while at an International Therapeutic Boarding School, which gives him the experience to connect with students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

His expertise is in the subjects of Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II as well as in test-taking strategies that aid his students in SAT/ACT and state standardized tests. Tyler grew up in coastal north San Diego County and now resides in the North Lake Tahoe area. Tyler spends his free time snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.

About the lesson

Currently, we are teaching from the 7th grade to the high school level, and also offer SAT & ACT preparation.
