I have experience teaching and tutoring at the high school and college level for over 6 years. I have advanced degrees in biology. I have a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's of Science from Murray State University in Kentucky. I have published 6 peer-reviewed articles in Evolutionary Ecology, Insects, and Paleontology. Biology can be very difficult for students to succeed in at college, so in my courses I try to incorporate teaching methods such as: using supplemental worksheets/guided notes that help narrow the focus and reinforce key concepts (if student wants to use these), explaining the connections of Biological concepts to real world examples, and using exams I've written to give students practice questions for reviewing.
