About Nicholas

I have been a student for a very, very, very long time. Which means I understand that improving your understanding of a topic, getting over a hurdle in a class, or preparing for a test is so often about waiting (or working) until someone finally says something the right way for you specifically. My focus as a tutor is always listening to what the student understands about their material, figuring out what their teacher wants them to know, and helping to fill in the blanks.

About the lesson

I will always start by asking for a practice problem, example test question, or even just a homework assignment so I can see what your teacher is expecting you to be working on and learning. Then I prefer for the student to demonstrate a little bit about how they would approach the problem. But, if you do not even know where to start, that is no problem, because I have been there, and it is what I am here for now. I have studied a lot of different topics and have had many academic interests, so I can practically guarantee whatever it is you would like me to help you with, I have struggled my way through it before. I can tutor any high school mathematics and college math up through calculus two. I can tutor any human biology from high school through college.
