About Miles
I'm a physicist with a Master of Science from Harvard, and Bachelor degrees in both Physics and Music Composition. I started tutoring undergraduate physics 8 years ago, and I taught two semesters of introductory college physics as a TA. I am also passionate about, and have experience giving piano lessons and teaching music theory to adult learners.

I specialize in teaching upper-level high school and college students. I don't teach "to the test", but help learners tap into their own curiosities to build a personalized learning toolbox that will serve them for years to come. I encourage my students to think independently, and guide them in getting over the paralyzing fear of "doing it wrong."
I myself struggled in high school, but eventually found success in college and beyond thanks to mentors who helped ignite my passion for both music and physics. I am now a Harvard graduate with a Masters in physics and a newly patented invention to my name. I know firsthand that no two learners are the same, and I want to help students find their own path into these complex and rewarding subjects.
