About Laura
Hello! I have 6 years of experience teaching, college admissions coaching, and offering test-pre tutoring for the SAT. I have spent the past 12 years in higher ed and taught 500+ student in my career. I particularly enjoy tutoring and admissions consulting because it lets me teach other subjects that I don't work in during my current day job. I have had a lifelong love of learning and I hope to pass that on to my students!

I've developed an individualized teaching method that aims to transform my students into independent learners, who are equipped with strategic problem-solving methods and are confident enough in their own abilities to undertake any academic challenge. I work with my students to pinpoint their individual strengths and weaknesses, and aim to address whatever is holding them back whether it's test-taking anxiety or a lack of confidence in their academic work.
