About Michael
I taught English proficiency and SAT preparation to Vietnamese high school students in Vietnam in 2011-2012, after which I built multiple technical teams and training programs to hire and train them quickly. I recently completed my service as a Linguist in the US Army, where I was required to learn a language to fluency in under a year. This experience taught me additional language learning and teaching skills related to my tutoring here.

At the start, we will develop a training plan that fits your needs. Classes will vary and may include reading passages, reading and listening to conversations, speaking exercises, and vocabulary exercises. Grammar will be integrated to fit your needs.
While my lessons are typically aimed at a high school audience, my experience learning language as a linguist in the US Army will allow a wider range of students. If you are interested in learning English for any purpose, please reach out.
