About Katherrin

Katherrin is a Harvard University senior from Chicago studying Art, Film & Visual Studies and Psychology, with a minor in Economics, certificate in Civic Engagement, and graduate-level coursework in education counseling. She has 4+ years of tutoring, academic editing, test prep, mentorship, and admissions strategy experience across 5 education companies.
She has delivered admissions workshops to 2000+ students worldwide, guided international student cohorts, and worked with learners across writing, art, entrepreneurship, humanities, and leadership development. About the lesson

I teach with an empathetic, structured, and personalized approach. My goal is to help students feel confident, curious, and capable while giving them clear tools they can use beyond our lessons through guided practice, real examples, and tailored feedback.

A typical lesson begins with identifying the student’s goals, reviewing current challenges, and breaking the material into manageable steps. Then, we practice together through examples, exercises, brainstorming, or revision. I end each session with clear takeaways and next steps so students leave knowing exactly how to improve.

What sets me apart is my mix of academic, creative, and mentorship experience. I am a Harvard senior studying Art, Film & Visual Studies, and Psychology, with additional training in Economics and Civic Engagement. I have taught, mentored, and advised students through 15+ education, leadership, and mentorship roles, including admissions workshops for 3,000+ students worldwide. My background in art, writing, entrepreneurship, and public speaking helps me make lessons engaging, practical, and inspiring.

My lessons are best for middle school, high school, and college students interested in writing, college applications, art, entrepreneurship, leadership, humanities, psychology, or communication skills.
