About Erica

Hello! I'm Erica and I'm passionate about pedagogy and the harp. I am from Madrid but for three years I have lived in San Sebastián during the academic year to study the Higher Degree in Harp Performance (this is my last year!). If you are interested in learning or improving with the harp, do not hesitate to contact me and we can arrange a free first session to get to know each other and specify time and in-person (or online) availability depending on the time of year.

About the lesson

I offer harp classes adapted to your needs (from beginners to the instrument to an intermediate level). At these levels it is very important to learn an effective study methodology and with my help you will be able to develop your skills on the instrument and independence in your musical learning.

My classes will be adapted according to the objectives you have; For example, if you have to prepare a repertoire for an entrance test, contest or a concert, I can help you not only in the technical and musical development, but also in searching for a suitable repertoire and obtaining sheet music if necessary.

I am convinced that studying is much more effective when the student enjoys and develops a genuine interest in the subject. Therefore, my pedagogical project adapts to the personal interests of each student, to enhance motivation in this beautiful learning and accompany you on your own musical path.

My classes are aimed at:
- Initiation
- Intermediate levels
- Test preparation

I also offer complementary classes:
- Musical language
- Music history
- Harmony and composition
- Analysis
- Jazz language and modern music on the harp

Perfect! Nuestra hija, que acaba de cumplir 6 años, lleva un año estudiando arpa con Erica. ¡No podríamos estar más contentos!

Erica consigue inculcar, con mucha paciencia y cariño, unas bases sólidas, tanto musicales como técnicas con el instrumento. Claramente sabe algo sobre cómo enseñar a los más pequeños.

A nuestra hija le encanta ir clase (¡prefiere ir a clase que quedarse jugando en el parque!) y está muy motivada para seguir aprendiendo.

Encontrar un buen profesor no es fácil, y nos sentimos muy afortunados de haber encontrado a Erica.

Lur, la hija de Dana es una muy buena alumna. Tiene talento natural para el arpa, claramente. Sus padres son muy flexibles para los cambios de horarios en el caso de necesitar hacerlos alguna semana. Excelente experiencia con esta familia!
