About Prabal
I hold engineering credits from Clarkson University and built my career applying math, science, and analytical thinking across some of the most demanding industries in the world, including financial services, telecom, logistics, and healthcare.
Over twenty years, I have worked with teams at companies including Verizon, UPS, and Wells Fargo, solving complex technical and operational problems. That career was built entirely on the STEM fundamentals I now teach.
I bring the same rigor to tutoring that I bring to my professional work: clear explanations, no shortcuts, and a genuine interest in whether the student actually understands.

I started as an engineer and spent two decades applying math and science to solve real problems in finance, telecom, logistics, and healthcare. I know what these subjects actually do in the world, and I teach from that vantage point.
My approach is simple: find where the student is stuck, fix the foundation, then build forward. I don't move on until the concept is solid. Every lesson starts with a quick check of what the student already knows, then we work through the material with real examples, not just formulas.
I work best with middle school and high school students who are struggling or want to get ahead in algebra, geometry, and general STEM subjects. I also work well with younger students who need to build number sense and problem-solving confidence early.
What sets me apart is that I've used this material professionally for twenty years. I can show a student why they're learning something, not just how to pass a test.
