About Venus

Hi I'm a registered music therapist and multi-instrumentalist in Sydney. My musical skills and improvisation techniques granted me to study Master of Music Therapy without a relevant bachelor's degree. I blend in classical and pop elements with handpan playing techniques. Learn all the cool grooves here!

About the lesson

Learning and playing music should be fun. I use visuals and your favorite music to develop your musical skills - from rhythm, melody, timbre to chord progression. Client-centered and goal-oriented approach. Playing instruments isn't just a skill, but a great activity to express yourself too. Sneak peek of my class: - fingers flexibility - coordination - grooves (melody + rhythm) - song composition - handpan song cover (on request)

Perfect! Venus shows a lot of enthusiasm as she teaches and introduces me to the handpan. She comes well-prepared with practice patterns, finger exercises and grooves. She answers all my questions and and tells about her own history with the handpan when asked. I am very looking forward to our next session.

Perfect! Venus is an outgoing and fun teacher who is able to teach singing. She uses a variety of techniques in vocal warm ups. I had a lot of fun with this teacher. I wish I could continue to have singing lessons with her but because of schoolwork, I can't continue to learn to sing with her. But I would definitely recommend everyone to learn singing with Venus because she is a great teacher!
