Chris is an extrememly knowledgable and experienced saxophonist and guitarist. As a teacher he's very friendly and patient. He doesnt make you feel overwhelmed and works at your pace whilst still moving our progress forward. Lessons are always well structured and most importantly, FUN! I like the diversity of saxophone music we cover, from rock to pop to ska, and even some jazz! Finding Chris has really motivated my practice at home and he has even encouraged me to play with others in a local band, Sax Bandits!

I’ve worked and performed with Chris in a variety of musical contexts. We met on a hotel residency in Mexico and have since played in multiple ensembles since then - jazz duos to eight-piece funk bands.

Aside from being a great and knowledgable sax player, Chris is very patient and empathetic making him well suited to teaching. Combined with this, his versatility allows him to play anything from jazz and funk to metal and classical.
