About Tianna

I have been giving lessons on and off for a few years to about three-six main students. Anyone (and I mean anyone) can not only learn how to play guitar; but do it with style and grace. I've met people unable to properly distinguish between frets and strings quickly pick up the concepts with a little guidance and practice. When it comes to something as touching and enjoyable as music, no one is unable to contribute to that beauty.

About the lesson

When I was younger, I took guitar lessons as well which taught me which teaching methods are effective (especially for children) and which are not. I had a hard time engaging; which resulted in my beloved hobby to crumble into a despised chore. Now, I utilize that experience to ensure a professional, light-hearted environment in which a pupil can absorb knowledge AND have fun. I teach beginners using a hands-on approach that is tailored to their learning speed and personality. No two students of mine have been fed the same, cookie-cut curriculum. As the lessons progress and I too learn more of the students music taste, I will incorporate their interests (preferred practice songs) as well. This makes sure that the pupil isn't only learning the essentials, but also what they want to learn.

Currently I'm only offering lessons to beginners. A 24 hour notice for cancellation is required or a fee of $5 will be presented.
