"Solos become intuitive when you practise against a rhythm section that matches your specific tempo and style. I create custom backing tracks so that every student can work on their lead guitar skills during private practice sessions.

"Technically speaking, my formal training as a Voice graduate from Guildhall influences how I hear and teach the nuances of the guitar. Sometimes I admit that switching between classical vocal performance and electric guitar technique was a challenge that taught me how to break down complex theory. I guide hobbyists, working professionals, and returning learners through the intricacies of scales, modes, and lead guitar playing.
Having taught 393 students, I have gained a deep sense of what makes a player click. Tuning and maintenance are habits I prioritise to ensure your instrument stays reliable.
