About Renee

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and also have 7 years of teaching experience working with students at different skill levels. My interest in guitar began with a passion for music, which later developed into a strong interest in teaching.

My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and structured learning. I guide students step by step so they can build strong skills and confidence. I use exercises, songs, and practical techniques to help learners improve gradually. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing guitar and exploring different musical styles. Teaching guitar is very fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and skill over time. Helping them enjoy music motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

About the lesson

Learning guitar becomes easier when students understand how rhythm and chords work together instead of just memorizing songs without structure. My lessons are designed to build strong skills in chords, strumming patterns, finger placement, and basic music theory through simple and clear explanations. I guide students step by step so they can play smoothly and confidently. I also include practice songs and exercises to help learners apply their skills in a practical way. Each session is interactive and supportive, allowing students to practice comfortably and improve steadily.

I organize lessons based on each student’s level and learning goals to ensure steady progress. Beginners focus on basic chords, simple strumming, and easy songs. Intermediate learners work on chord transitions, rhythm improvement, and more complex songs. Advanced students focus on fingerstyle techniques, performance skills, and musical expression. Practice routines, revision methods, and regular feedback are included to strengthen learning and support improvement.

Guitar lessons also help students develop coordination, rhythm, and creativity. As they improve, they gain confidence in playing and performing. Many learners begin to enjoy music more once they can play independently. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, enjoyable, and confidence-building.
