About Kae
I am a graduate of LIPA Sixth Form College, leaving with a Distinction in Popular Music and Performance. Currently, I am in the first year of my Music Degree course at the University of Liverpool.
I love to teach guitar because it allows me to support new and budding musicians to find their new hobby or even their career! It is also very rewarding to watch my students flourish whether it be in their technique, confidence, playing style, or understanding etc.

From jazz/folk finger-style to math-rock pinch harmonics, I've got you covered, no matter how old or young you are!
I tailor-make each student a course covering all of your needs and goals for any length of time (I do recommend the 10-week plan).
Typically, the length of a guitar lesson with me would be around 1 hour. My teaching methods focus on training the ear of the student, which is often referred to as the Suzuki method.
This does not mean, however, that I neglect music theory in my lessons!
As a beginner guitarist, it is very easy to believe that music theory is unnecessary and it is daunting or scary. Although it might seem that way, I hope that I will show you that music theory is a very useful tool and it doesn't have to be scary at all!
