About Ben
I have been teaching for over 12 years while also being a touring musician. I studied an Advanced Diploma of Applied Music and hold a Certificate 3 in Music Business. Once I completed studies I have toured the country various times with groups gaining further real world knowledge to aid in teaching music and what is required in real life as a musician. Between touring I have taught privately and also In music schools around the eastern suburbs and bayside area of Victoria. This has also taught me the importance of how much enjoyment of playing, plays a role in all students from beginners to advanced, from hobbyists to career musicians. I also have a current working with children check.
I also provide performance coaching, music release strategy and marketing lectures, songwriting seminars and guitar maintenance courses.

Every student is different and as such each students curriculum is catered towards their learning style. I prefer to work with the student to define certain short term and long term goals. From here I develop a syllabus to enable us to work together to achieve those goals.
