About Ilyana
I have a Master’s Degree in Popular Music Performance and 4 years of experience teaching guitar. My love for music began through performing and experimenting with different musical styles, which helped me appreciate the versatility of the guitar. Teaching allows me to share that enthusiasm while helping students achieve their goals.
My teaching approach combines technical development with creativity and encouragement. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to suit individual needs and interests. Through demonstrations, practical exercises, and performance coaching, I help learners improve while maintaining their enthusiasm for music. Supporting confidence and creativity is always a priority.
Outside tutoring, I enjoy live performance, songwriting, and exploring new musical genres. These experiences bring fresh ideas and inspiration into my lessons. Teaching guitar is rewarding because I get to see students transform their dedication into real progress. Helping learners achieve their musical ambitions is one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build practical skills while enjoying the creative process of making music. We cover rhythm guitar, chord progressions, fingerstyle playing, lead techniques, ear training, improvisation, music theory, and song interpretation through structured learning and hands-on practice. I encourage learners to understand music deeply so they can play with confidence and creativity. This creates meaningful and lasting musical development.
Lessons are personalized to suit the student's goals, interests, and current ability. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm control, and foundational techniques. Intermediate players strengthen coordination, technique, and musical expression. Advanced students work on improvisation, performance preparation, and stylistic versatility. Consistent guidance and feedback help learners continue progressing successfully.
I believe learning guitar should be exciting and inspiring. My lessons create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and grow. As skills develop, confidence naturally follows. My goal is to help learners become capable musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through their instrument.
