About Aabir
Hi! My name is Dr. Aabir Mazumdar and I have been a music industry worker and educator for over two decades. I have had hundreds of students of all ages and skill levels, and covered many different forms of music, content and industry skills. Some of these include pop, rock, jazz, indie, hip hop, songwriting, music production, soundtracking, sound design, recording/mixing, and performance.
I am a flexible teacher and my lessons revolve around what my students want to achieve. I am encouraging and supportive and sincerely believe that every student can achieve their goals with the right kind of help.

About the lesson

- My teaching style revolves around encouraging students to dive into or work towards the music that they enjoy. I try my best to demystify the music, and make it accessible as quickly as possible.
- I teach either out of my home studio in Northland, Wellington or online via Zoom.
- The lessons take place weekly, are 30 - 40 minutes long and cost $45 per lesson.
- All ages and skill levels are welcome.
