About Mariela
Holding an Artist Diploma in Music Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music means I focus on technical nuance rather than just memorizing simple patterns. You might think playing guitar is about speed, but I emphasize clean fingerpicking and mastery of scales and modes. My 4 years of experience as a teacher and musician allow me to explain complex blues progressions and barre chords in a way that feels organic. Ear training becomes the foundation for everything we discuss, and I genuinely enjoy seeing students find their own musical voice.

"Vibrating strings under your fingertips reveal the true character of a melody before any music theory even enters the room. I incorporate my conservatory training to ensure the technical aspects of guitar remain grounded in actual musicality.
My 9 minute guitar sessions focus on practical application so that you can hear the progress you are making in real time. Because I spent years performing, I understand exactly what students need to transition from the bedroom to the stage. I provide free chord charts and tab sheets after each class to help your practice at home. Connecting with your instrument should be a rewarding part of your week."
