About Jo
I studied jazz at university (Bmus), but I’m well versed in folk/pop/rock etc… I’ve worked with Beyonce, Brandy, Craig David, Andy Mckee, Sugarbabes, Lamar etc and loads more.
I’m also a platinum-selling, VMA nominated music producer.
I have 20 years of teaching experience and some of my former students are already amazing professional musicians in their own rights.
Music is my passion and has taken me around the world, performing to hundreds of thousands of people. And I love to share what I’ve learned along the way.
I teach all levels from absolute beginners up to any standard including coaching professionals in advanced techniques.

My teaching style is based on pursuing the musical interests of the student. I feel that the world of music is large enough that whatever style of music you are in too, you can do to a high level with the help of an experienced teacher. If you love the music you are learning, you are more likely to practice in between lessons, and that is the key to moving forward.

Jo is an amazing guitar teacher! Now both of my daughters are having lessons with him and they have made so much progress in such a short time.
