About Cristóbal

I am a graduate of the UNA (National University of the Arts) where I studied with maestro Javier Bravo. I enjoy giving concerts both as a soloist and in groups. I am the guitarist in The Silly Bees (quartet dedicated to Argentine music). As a soloist I gave concerts in Argentina, Uruguay, Spain and Portugal. My main interest was always fusion music, which does not always fit into traditional classifications. I have been teaching private guitar for more than 10 years in Villa Crespo and also in Recoleta. I work at the State Conservatory "Ástor Piazzolla" as coordinator of concerts of both students, graduates and cultural events . At my work lucky to be in constant contact with musicians (both students and teachers) of all ages, levels and styles, something very important because it is always good to be close to talented people that inspire you day by day.

About the lesson

The classes place great emphasis on achieving a functional technique, that is, that respects as much as possible the body mechanics of each student and provides the necessary ease for mastery of the instrument. The approach is personalized and focused on the practicing itself. In addition to the technical approach, which can sometimes take up to half of the class, classes depend more on the tastes and choices of the student. This can range from learning songs - starting from scratch if it is the case - to preparing advanced academic pieces. Classes can also be to prepare for specific instrument auditions or musical theory exams for various musical institutions.
