About Alina
My connection to guitar began with the realization that music can communicate emotion in ways words cannot. Over eight years of teaching, I’ve had the privilege of helping students develop their skills, creativity, and musical confidence. I love guiding learners as they discover their musical identity and progress toward their personal goals. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and flexible. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace, interests, and aspirations, making learning clear, enjoyable, and rewarding. I emphasize good technique, musical understanding, and creative exploration, giving students tools that support long-term growth. When I’m not teaching, I continue to learn, perform, write music, and collaborate with other musicians. These experiences keep my lessons vibrant and connected to real-world musicianship. Helping students find joy and confidence through guitar remains one of the greatest rewards of teaching.

My guitar lessons provide a structured yet creative environment where students can build solid technique while exploring music that inspires them. Lessons begin with warmups designed to improve dexterity, rhythm, and tone control. I guide students through chords, melodies, exercises, and songs suited to their level and interests, helping them develop both technical skill and musical expression. The tone of lessons is encouraging, relaxed, and focused on steady progress.
Students of all skill levels are welcome. Beginners learn foundational chords, rhythm patterns, comfortable hand posture, simple melodies, and introductory songs. Intermediate students develop barre chords, scales, fingerstyle techniques, expressive phrasing, and stylistic versatility. Advanced learners explore improvisation, complex repertoire, theory application, stage presence, and creative development such as arranging or songwriting.
Lessons include practice planning, ear training, repertoire building, and projects tailored to each student's musical goals. Students grow into confident, skilled musicians who enjoy their playing and feel comfortable exploring new challenges. My aim is to help each learner connect personally with music and develop a lifelong appreciation for guitar.
