About Nina

I hold a B.Mus in Guitar Performance and Contemporary Music Studies and have 7 years of experience teaching guitar to students of all skill levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes technical mastery, musical expression, and creative exploration. I cultivate a positive and motivating environment where learners feel confident to experiment, make mistakes, and develop their unique voice. Lessons include technique exercises, repertoire, improvisation, duet sessions, and performance coaching. I provide personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and strategies for continuous growth. My approach balances discipline and creativity, helping learners progress steadily while cultivating artistry and confidence. About the lesson

Guitar lessons thrive when learners combine technical skill, expressive phrasing, and creative exploration. I focus on fingerstyle technique, chord voicing, scales, improvisation, soloing, rhythm development, tone shaping, sight-reading, and performance confidence. Lessons incorporate structured exercises, repertoire practice, improvisational challenges, duet work, and stage simulations. I foster a supportive and encouraging environment where learners feel safe to experiment, make mistakes, and develop their unique musical identity. Creative problem-solving, mental practice, and musical storytelling are integral to the learning process, ensuring technical mastery and expressive freedom develop hand-in-hand.

Lesson progression is personalized. Beginners focus on basic chords, finger positioning, strumming patterns, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners refine scales, chord transitions, improvisation, and phrasing. Advanced learners work on complex solos, technical challenges, improvisational fluency, and ensemble coordination.
