About Sanya

I hold a Bachelor’s in Music Performance and Guitar Pedagogy and have 11 years of experience teaching guitar to learners of all ages and levels. My teaching blends technical instruction, musical theory, performance coaching, and artistic expression, helping students develop a versatile, confident, and expressive approach to playing the instrument. Over the years, I have guided learners from beginner chord mastery to advanced improvisation and performance. My approach emphasizes individualized learning, patience, creativity, and encouragement. Lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals, preferences, and learning pace. I incorporate technical exercises, musical repertoire, improvisation, and performance guidance to cultivate both skill and expressive capability. Feedback is constructive and motivating, fostering continual progress and artistic growth. Beyond teaching, I perform regularly, explore new repertoire, and study advanced guitar techniques to keep lessons fresh and inspiring. Watching students gain technical mastery, artistic confidence, and expressive freedom is deeply fulfilling. About the lesson

My guitar lessons focus on developing both technical skill and expressive musicality, covering areas such as finger dexterity, chord progressions, scales, tone control, soloing, improvisation, sight-reading, and performance preparation. Lessons incorporate exercises, repertoire, improvisational practice, and musical theory, all delivered in a structured yet flexible way that accommodates individual learning goals. Students learn not only to play accurately but also to interpret and express musical ideas authentically.

Beginners focus on basic chord shapes, strumming patterns, simple scales, and familiar songs to build foundational skills and confidence. Intermediate learners work on more complex chord progressions, soloing, music reading, improvisation, and expressive phrasing while developing stage presence and performance readiness. Advanced learners refine technical control, advanced improvisation, stylistic versatility, composition skills, and live performance techniques. Each lesson includes personalized feedback, structured exercises, and encouragement to promote steady progress, creativity, and self-expression.

Studying guitar enhances technical skill, creativity, musical understanding, and emotional expression. Students gain confidence, artistic independence, and the ability to connect emotionally with music. My aim is to support learners in developing both proficiency and expressive depth, empowering them to perform confidently, explore their musical voice, and enjoy the process of learning and creating music.
