Steady progress remains the goal, so I provide a custom practice module with every lesson to keep your momentum high. Concepts are broken down into manageable pieces that fit into a busy schedule.
You will find that my 22 years of gigging influence how we prioritize rhythm guitar and lead technique. These sessions focus on clear feedback and solid structure for self-taught players or those returning to the instrument after many years.
Beginners often tell me that this methodical pace makes music theory feel much less intimidating. We might spend time on grade exam prep or simply refining your acoustic technique to sound cleaner. It is satisfying to watch the pieces click into place during our time together. Playing the guitar should feel like a reward at the end of a long day.

Barre chords and intricate fingerpicking styles form the foundation of how I approach the fretboard today. Music has been a constant companion since I was 4 years old, eventually leading me to earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Popular Music from the USC Thornton School of Music.
Over the last 22 years, I have performed in blues and rock bands across the Boston area. These days, my favorite student is the working professional who is picking up the instrument for the first time. I have guided hundreds of players who were stuck in pentatonic jail toward a more melodic perspective. Let us figure out where you want your musical voice to go next.
