"You deserve a mentor who has spent 6 years gigging across the US while refining a technique that covers fingerpicking, electric style, and ear training. My path from Belmont University to the stage taught me that music is best served without dry, repetitive drills.
I spent 8 years developing my own ear before I ever held a guitar, and those foundational blues and rock roots now inform everything I teach. "Real music is the only effective way to improve your guitar playing. Most students think they need boring exercises, but you actually need immediate application through blues progressions, maintenance tips, and lead guitar practice.
I start every new student with a thorough diagnostic skills check to identify exactly where your technique hits a wall. This allows me to create a roadmap that skips the fluff. 10 years of gigging experience informs how we navigate tuning and grade exam prep.
We do not waste time on things that do not make you sound better. You will always play songs you actually enjoy. Real bands remain the focus. I promise to keep things honest and grounded in the music you love."
