About Rosalinda

Studying at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music taught me that music theory is a language. Sometimes I find myself over-explaining simple concepts to my students. My teaching philosophy centers on you explaining the material back to me unprompted.

We establish a clear goal at the start and work backwards until you reach it. It is just how I prefer to work.

About the lesson

Starting with a diagnostic assessment helps me understand your current playing ability immediately. We will look at your technical gaps before building custom backing tracks for your soloing practice at home.

Because I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance, I maintain a high standard for your tone and rhythm. You will find that we focus heavily on the mechanics of your fretboard movement.

My strategy involves deconstructing complex solos into manageable segments to build your confidence over time. These sessions lean into the 7.0 exam criteria to ensure your playing meets a strict benchmark. I emphasize consistent repetition to solidify your muscle memory for every scale. You can expect a logical flow that keeps you moving toward your musical objectives.
