About Lori
Electric technique and scales form the foundation of my method. Interestingly, I often teach technical precision using the rhythms of bolero and flamenco to ground the music. My 19 years of experience inform every choice I make. I work with absolute beginners and dedicated exam candidates daily. Helping students define their own sound is the core of my practice. I have guided hundreds of players toward musical fluency. My Colombian roots provide a unique perspective on rhythm and soul. Chacarera traditions often influence the way I explain complex blues progressions. You will soon define your own path on the fretboard.

Playing guitar is difficult, though I try to simplify the process for everyone. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level before we begin. My Bachelor of Music in Popular Music helps me break down maintenance and tuning for any skill level. I keep sessions focused on songwriting and technical mastery. I find joy in watching students apply theory to the guitar. These sessions are built on 19 years of classroom work. I love sharing how traditional Latin styles intersect with modern electric blues. My degree provides a solid structure for your development. You deserve a teacher who values tradition as much as modern technique. I am excited to play alongside you during our upcoming sessions.
