About Cameron

Im Cameron, I have played guitar since I was 13 and I’ve been singing since I was 17.
I started back then playing rock and metal and when I went to Belfast met I began learning other styles such as jazz, pop, country and indie.

Since leaving tech, I have been actively busking, gigging, and teaching all around Belfast and more recently Antrim.

I’d like to begin taking more students to help build up my funds for a bigger project. I’m trying to set up my own business running creative workshops, providing things like drum circles, choir, band facilitation and much more.

About the lesson

I am currently working as a guitar and ukulele teacher with Antrim School of music teaching kids from 7-18.

I can teach a wide range of skills techniques from beginner to early advanced level. I mainly focus on acoustic and ukulele however I can and have taught electric guitar as well.

My lessons can take place:

In person (either in your household or mine wherever you feel most comfortable, we can work that out together)

Online (though this poses some challenges to the teaching practice)

I have experience in counselling skills training and support work, working with individuals with neurodivergence, disabilities and mental health struggles.
I find this useful in a teaching environment as the most important thing to address is feeling comfortable then learning becomes much simpler.
