About Kara
With a BSc in Economics and 4 years of tutoring experience, I love helping middle school students take their first steps into economics. Lessons focus on core ideas such as supply and demand, trade, money, and choices. I keep learning interactive with fun activities like classroom markets and simple budgeting games. These activities help students understand how economics applies to their everyday lives. I also share engaging stories about how people trade, how resources are shared, and how decisions shape communities. Stories make lessons exciting and memorable. My teaching is nurturing, encouraging students to ask questions and explore freely. I create a learning space where mistakes become part of the process. Each lesson is structured but flexible to match student needs. Curiosity and confidence grow together in every session. I believe early exposure to economics builds problem-solving skills for life. Together, we discover how people, choices, and resources connect in fascinating ways.

Economics is everywhere, and my teaching approach helps students see that clearly. I focus on fundamentals like supply and demand, trade, and markets. Lessons are explained with visuals, real-life examples, and clear steps. Students also learn through simulations and role-play exercises. These activities make theories easier to understand. My sessions are designed to be both structured and engaging. I encourage students to share ideas and explore freely. Aspiring Entrepreneurs learn how to connect markets with innovation. Policy Enthusiasts explore how decisions shape communities and resources. Each lesson builds gradually, creating confidence along with knowledge. I provide full support for students at every stage. Curiosity and discussion are central to learning. By the end, students not only understand economics but also enjoy it. Together, we explore how economics connects to everyday life.
