I’m a passionate and professional artist with over 22 years of creative experience and 16 years of teaching art to both children and adults. My work has been exhibited in galleries and art shows, and I’ve completed numerous commissioned pieces — from lifelike portraits to detailed landscapes and beloved pet paintings. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, encouraging learning environment where students feel supported and inspired. My teaching is patient and adaptable, ensuring lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, interests, and skill level. Professionalism is at the heart of my approach — I arrive prepared, organised, and committed to helping you achieve your artistic goals. My lessons are designed to be both structured and inspiring. I combine classical art techniques with modern, creative exercises to help you build strong technical skills while also developing your own unique style. I focus on demonstration, guided practice, and personalised feedback so you can see your progress with every session. A typical lesson lasts 60-90 minutes, giving enough time to explore new concepts, practise techniques, and review your work without feeling rushed. I teach across a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pencil, and pastels, and weave in relevant art history to help you deepen your understanding and spark ideas. My lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities — from complete beginners picking up a brush for the first time, to experienced artists looking to refine their technique. Whether you’re learning for personal enjoyment, preparing for art exams, or building a portfolio, I tailor each session to your goals and interests.
